The Aga Khan Rural Support Program India supported study aimed to ascertain the prospects of millets value chain in the Dangs district of Gujarat. 

 

The study analysed the existing value chains of finger (Nagli) and proso (Vari) millets in terms of input supply, cultivation, harvest/post-harvest and processing and value addition, mapped AKRSPI’s efforts to strengthen the value chain, and explored measures to stabilise and increase millet production and its processing.
