The Axis Bank Foundation supported project facilitated farm and non-farm activities, livestock development, participatory irrigation management, natural resource management and promotion of people’s collectives to enhance incomes of small and marginal farmers and women in the tribal Nandurbar district of Maharashtra.

The assessment used qualitative and quantitative methods to present a realistic assessment of the overall impact in general and economic impact in particular of the participatory natural resource management and livelihood initiatives promoted under the project.
