The IKEA Foundation supported BMP-PIM Cotton project worked with cotton farmers in five districts of Gujarat to promote better management practices for sustainable cotton cultivation.

The assessment analysed the level of adoption of scientific agricultural practices by cotton farmers and measured impacts achieved with respect to input cost, crop yield, soil health, farmer awareness and capacity building of irrigation cooperatives to help DSC design the next phase of intervention.
