The objective of the APONE project was to ensure sustainable livelihoods for poor and marginal communities, particularly women, in North-East Bangladesh through improvements to small-scale agriculture.

 

The consultancy services involved preparing a set of Guidebooks to help Traidcraft establish farmer associations and a savings and investment programme for women in Mymensingh and Sherpur districts of north-east Bangladesh.
