UNICEF has been working with the Government of India to support efforts towards Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Water, Sanitation and Health (WASH) in healthcare facilities in a number of Indian states.

The consultancy services involved a systematic documentation of UNICEF’s efforts in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Gujarat. The work involved process documentation of UNICEF’s support in rolling out flagship programmes in the form of packages of content which included case studies on best practices adopted by healthcare facilities, and advocacy briefs demonstrating UNICEF’s unique value in strengthening healthcare facilities and the communities around them.
